What is your role at Harmony Aesthetics?
My role is a little bit of everything—and honestly, that's one of the things I love most about it.
On any given day, I might be managing the clinic, welcoming you in and ensuring you have a luxurious, comfortable experience from the moment you arrive.
I'm your skincare coach, helping you navigate your skin journey, your therapist when you need someone to listen, and your biggest cheerleader as we celebrate your progress and results.
Behind the scenes, I'm also a trainer, photographer, laser technician, brow specialist, facial massage enthusiast, front desk rep, and yes—even the person tidying up and making sure everything runs smoothly. Whether I'm answering questions via email or phone, supporting the team, educating clients, or performing treatments, my goal is always the same: to help you feel confident, cared for, and supported.
At the heart of it all, my role is to create meaningful connections and provide exceptional care—because great skin is important, but so is how you feel throughout the entire experience.

What does a typical day at Harmony look like for you?
No two days are ever the same, and busy, which is one of the things I love most about my job!
Most days start a little early as I prepare treatment rooms, review my schedule, and get everything ready for my clients. Throughout the day, I'm performing treatments, answering phone calls, documenting progress and results, taking photos, helping clients check in and out, and ensuring everyone feels welcomed and cared for.
Between appointments, I'm cleaning and sanitizing rooms, managing inventory, folding laundry, washing dishes, and taking care of all the behind-the-scenes details that keep the clinic running smoothly. Every little detail matters and contributes to creating a safe, comfortable, and exceptional experience for our clients.
Some days start early and end late, to accommodate clients who work late or have busy schedules. And of course, I proudly take on the role of clinic DJ, helping create the relaxing atmosphere that makes Harmony feel like home.
What inspired you to pursue a career in aesthetics / skin health?
My journey into aesthetics really started when my mom owned a salon. I spent a lot of time helping at the front desk, and during quieter moments, I would often call my friends and have them come in so I could practice services on them and pass the time. Even back then, I loved connecting with people and helping them feel good about themselves.
As a young adult, after spending several years in customer service, I decided to try a traditional desk job. It only took about nine months for me to realize it wasn't for me. I missed the personal connections, the conversations, and being able to make a positive impact on someone's day. That's when I enrolled in aesthetics school, where I quickly fell in love with skincare and relaxation massage.
Fifteen years later, what I love most about this career is still the people. Building relationships with my clients, being part of their confidence journey, and celebrating their results with them is incredibly rewarding. While massage was a big part of my career, it eventually started to take a physical toll on my body, which led me to transition into medical aesthetics.

What does “success” look like for you after a treatment or consultation?
Success for me isn't just what happens in the treatment room—it's the message, phone call, or follow-up appointment where a client tells me they're finally starting to see progress. There's nothing more rewarding than watching someone move closer to their goals and seeing their confidence grow along the way.
I always remind my clients that skincare is a journey, not a destination. Results take time, consistency, and patience, which can be challenging in a world that expects instant gratification. When a client trusts the process, follows the plan we've created together, and starts seeing those positive changes, that's what I consider a success.
Another thing that means a lot to me is when clients continue coming back for treatments and consultations. To me, that says we've built a relationship based on trust. They know I'm invested in their results, and they feel supported throughout their skin journey. There is no greater compliment than a client who chooses to return time and time again and allows me to be part of their progress.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? OR One fun fact about you that clients might be surprised to learn?
Outside of work, I love getting out to rock concerts and festivals around Winnipeg, and I’ve also really enjoyed learning more about the history of our city. I’m a bit of a car enthusiast and an Xbox gamer, and I’m finding my way back into a consistent gym routine too.
I also like picking up little skills and hobbies along the way—learning new ways to style curly hair, trying out new lunch recipes (I’ve definitely mastered grilling and keep building on that), and experimenting in the kitchen. On quieter days, you’ll usually find me reading in the sun or planning my next trip out to BC to visit family and friends.
Random fun fact—I’ve got all four of my wisdom teeth!

What would you say to someone considering booking their first appointment at Harmony?
I would say come in for a free consultation—there’s no pressure at all, it’s really just an opportunity to sit down, talk through your skin goals, and get educated on what your options are.
If it’s your first time at Harmony, I usually recommend starting with an AlumierMD facial. It’s truly unlike anything else in the city and really feels like the definition of luxury skincare and being genuinely cared for. From there, we can fully customize your treatment to what your skin needs and guide you toward more advanced medical aesthetic options if that’s something you’re interested in.
It’s all about meeting you where you’re at and building a plan that feels right for you.
